“My 35 y/o daughter was caught in a very abusive relationship with a dangerous man.  He controlled her with drugs and money.  We were so frightened for her we didn’t know what to do.  Then we read about Jane in a newspaper article and decided to call her.  Her warmth and compassion was a Godsend to us.  We also new from the moment we talked to her that she knew exactly what to do and would be able to help us.  She described our daughter to the tee.  We actually wondered if she had ever met her!  We took Jane’s advice and got a private detective involved and when we were ready intervened on her.  The information that we gathered on her boyfriend gave us the leverage that we needed to get her into treatment and get him out of her life forever.  We learned that our daughter had been sexually traumatized when she was 8 years old by a babysitter.  Jane suggested a treatment center that specialized in trauma issues and drug addictions and as a result we have our daughter back!  It’s wonderful and a miracle I never thought was possible.  Thank you, Jane from the bottom our hearts.”

“By the time I found Real Life Intervention Solutions, my daughter had been in and out of to two different treatment facilities, aftercare and a sober house over a two year period. Everyone in our immediate and extended family was devastated by constant fear due to her chronic relapses, and we felt powerless and paralyzed. Our family intervention included ten of us. Jane was full of compassion and resourcefulness leading up to the intervention. She was truly masterful in pre-intervention training, teaching us new skills, answering questions, and reminding us of our mission. The intervention was transformative for all of us. The experience was heart wrenching, intense, empowering and unifying. It was a testament to what a strong and loving family can do to save one of their own. In the end, we all felt tremendous relief, clarity and accomplishment. I am certain that without Jane’s direction, strength and fortitude, my daughter would not have ever received the help she so desperately needed.”

“Our son was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder when he was 19 years old. He started using alcohol and cocaine somewhere about that same time. He spent the next 10 years in and out of jail, psychiatric facilities, and drug rehab programs.  He never successfully completed anything and always went back to his drug use because he said it was the only thing that helped him feel any better. We were at our wits end and felt entirely hopeless that we would lose our son to drug addiction and mental illness.  We kept giving him money and paid for his bills because we were afraid he would die without our support.  Then by the grace of God we were told to call Jane Mintz.  She saved our family by helping us understand the relationship between drug addiction and mental illness.  She also helped us to understand that we were being “held hostage” by our son.  Jane gave us our power back. We intervened on our son, got him into a very specialized treatment center and then went to treatment ourselves for our co-dependency.  Our son is a different person today and so are we!  Thank you, Jane!

“We contacted Jane Mintz to help us with our 78 y/o Mother who was a lifelong alcoholic and prescription pill addict.  She had always been a very tough lady and it only got worse as she got older and couldn’t handle the drugs and alcohol the way she used to. Her behavior landed her in jail several times over the course of a year.  It got so bad that none of us wanted anything to do with her but we decided that we would try an intervention as the last resort.   Although the intervention was extremely difficult and emotional we were glad we did it for all of our sakes.  Our Mother went to treatment and although she is still a difficult lady (but sober) we are glad that Jane helped us to understand how to deal with her going forward.  Today we have a very different quality of relationship with her.  We still have a lot of bad days but have many more good days than we ever could have hoped for. Intervention really works.”
