Jane Eigner Mintz, M.A, LPC, CAI

Jane Eigner Mintz, M.A, LPC, BRI-II, CAI holds a Masters Degree in Community Counseling from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.  She graduated from Washington University with a degree in Clinical Psychology and is a graduate of Laurel School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Jane is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), a Board Registered Interventionist (BRI-II), a full member of the Association for Intervention Specialists (AIS) and is also a member of the National Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC). She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota, an International Honors Society for Counselors.

She is a Certified ARISE Interventionist.  ARISE Intervention strategies include Invitational Intervention methodologies and is based on systemic and transitional family theory.  For more information on the ARISE Intrevention method please click on the link at the bottom of the page. Additionally, she is a Class A member of the LPGA.

Jane has received special training with women who have dual diagnosis, trauma and addiction issues.  Jane is trained in working with a number of process addictions, most specifically sexual compulsivity and internet addiction.  She has run many groups as well as worked with individuals in recovery.  

Jane believes in looking at a person from a holistic point view and is not only concerned with getting her clients the very best treatment available but directing the entire family toward better emotional and physical health.  She consults with a client's treatment team to provide "after-care" and relapse prevention support plans for her clients emerging from in-patient treatment programs.

Jane is familiar with a variety of different intervention strategies and will use whichever method or combination of techniques necessary to move the client from the crisis state to the safety of  a treatment environment or plan. She always chooses to use an invitational intervention when possible.

Jane is connected with the finest network of treatment centers and professionals in the world. She regularly attends conferences and training seminars around the country.
